The Impact of IoT Smart Home Services on Psychological Well-Being

Smart home services are a new generation of consumer services. Supported by the Internet Things (IoT) technology, they deliver security, comfort, entertainment, assisted living, and efficient management to improve quality life consumers. As availability smart expands, there is still lack understanding what motivates their continuing use how penetration devices in environment affects individual well-being. We develop research model combining hedonic eudaimonic motivations with unified theory acceptance technology 2 (UTAUT 2) evaluate impacts on The estimated using partial least squares based sample 260 survey responses. results show that motivation associated adoption some moderates use.
